Welcome!  My name is Mike McCluskey.  I was born in Pasadena California and moved to El Paso when I was ten years old.  I completed my B.B.A education at the University of Texas at Austin.  I completed my alternative teaching education certification at UTEP.  This is my eleventh year teaching Physical Education.


To provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their full potential.  Through P.E., lifetime activities will be promoted, while increasing one’s self-esteem, encouraging them to be thoughtful towards others and active for a lifetime.  I will set high expectations for my students cognitive, psychomotor, and emotional development holding them accountable for their actions.

Classroom Rules

1. Be prepared for class
2. Always ask permission to leave class 
3. Follow the teacher’s directions
4. Follow all school rules
5. Always keeps hands/feet and objects to yourself
6. Always display good sportsmanship
7. Wear proper shoes to exercise and play in

Students are expected to participate in all physical education activities daily.  If your child is ill or injured and cannot participate in class we must have a note from you stating why.  This note will be in effect for three consecutive days only.  A longer period of time will require a doctors note which will be kept on file in the nurses office.  If your child has asthma or some other type of medical condition, the nurse must have a note on file from your doctor.

Grade levels taught K-5 daily.
