Hours of Operation

If I am away for an in-service, meeting, or lunch I ask that students be accompanied by an adult when visiting the unattended library.
Please see "Useful Links" tab on my website to access Gale Research, Pebble Go! and Encyclopaedia Britannica.
Bond Community, please let me know about any resources you would like to suggest for the library in order to reinforce your classroom curriculum. Please be aware that it takes some time to process purchases. The library is not currently accepting used book donations. It is our hope to improve the average age of our collection by weeding damaged and dated materials and purchasing resources with copyright dates from 2008 and newer.
Our eBook collection is growing! We have a diverse collection of electronic books of all interests and grade levels. Check it out on the eBook link from the "Useful Links" tab or from Mitzi Bond Homepage.
RIF will be conducted once this year. Ideally, we will have special themes for each distribution. Sadly, the federal government has eliminated all funding for RIF. It is my hope that we will be able to continue RIF on a smaller scale at our campus should our campus funds continue to be available.
Accelerated Reader is fully operational during the school year. Bond Elementary supports AR and it may be utilized as an instrument to motivate reluctant readers, monitor student progress, and develop a love for reading. You may easily access AR from the Mitzi Bond Homepage.
