Librarian

Welcome to the Mitzi Bond Library!dino&me

I am Rosanna R. Alvarado, your librarian. I have been an educator since 2001 at the university and elementary levels. I was a lecturer at UTEP in the College of Business for two years. I then began my career in the elementary schools as a third and then a fourth grade teacher. Since 2010, I have been blessed to be the librarian at Mitzi Bond.

I received my Bachelor's degree from UTEP in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Reading and Math. I also have my Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from UTEP. My certification in librarianship was received from Texas Woman's University.

Please know I am here to service the library and academic needs of the students, teachers, staff, parents, and the Bond community. I look forward to working collaboratively with each of you to achieve student success and lifelong readers!
