About Me

I am a First Grade Teacher here at Mitzi Bond Elementary.  I am going on my fourteenth year of teaching here at Mitzi Bond, of which nine years as a Second Grade Teacher and 5 years in First Grade.  I am married to Rob Sesich who came to El Paso from Cuppertino, CA (San Jose area) on a Football Scholarship with The University of Texas at El Paso.  We have a 7 year old daughter, Katelyn who is the love of our lives.  She is a Second Grader here at Bond.  I have two dogs, Cheyenne, 14 years old and Jessyka, 5 years old.

I was born and raised in El Paso.  I graduated from Eastwood High School where I was very involved in the Eastwood High School Band playing the flute.  I was in the Symphonic Band and Orchestra, section leader for two years, All-Region Band 3 years and All-Area Band and All-Area Orchestra my Senior year.   I continued my music studies and decided to major in Business at the University of Texas at El Paso  I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing.  I gave private flute lessons all during high school, college and several years after that.  After graduating from college, I worked at the then El Paso Airport Hilton (now the El Paso Airport Wyndam) where I was in hotel management for over thirteen years.  After getting married, the hotel hours were very long and not conducive for a family.  I finally listened to my mom and went back to Region 19 ESC to get my Elementary Teacher Certification.  While obtaining my certification and substitute teaching, I was very fortunate to be offered a Second Grade teaching position here at Bond.  I absolutely love my job and would not like to do anything else!
