Digital Citizenship

Mitzi Bond families, Happy Fall! Thanks to all of you for your support of our Fall Book Fair. We appreciate your hard work and giving generously of your time for our students. Our students are so blessed to have such dedicated parent volunteers working on their behalf.

Due to our enrollment of 613 students we have added three new teachers to Bond Mrs. Loera and Mr. Zuniga who will be teaching third grade and Mrs. Mercado who will be teaching Kinder Dual. Please welcome them to our Bond family.

With increased enrollment there have been some added challenges. The traffic situation has had parents come up with different areas to park. I do want to remind you that we should not be parking on Lindbergh. This causes a bottle neck for cars who are exiting the school. City police have been known to ticket cars that are parked there. I do have great news! The city will be installing speed cushions on Lindbergh street, this should help with speeding cars.

I would also like to notify you that we will decrease the amount of flyers that will be sent home. We have six avenues to communicate with our parents. We use Facebook, Twitter, Bond webpage, School Messenger, our marquee and Remind texting service.

May you enjoy Thanksgiving and remember to count each and every one of your blessings!

Mrs. Villalobos
